hello to all,
Ryan here. I’m out in San Diego on a bit of a surf/hang trip with Sal right now. We’ll be flying home on Wednesday to finish the record and then we’ll be driving back out here to the Santa Monica area to do the record. However, we have some updates to send your way in regard to the new record.
We’re really stoked to announce that we’ll be recording our new record with Sean Beavan. You may have heard his work on Nine Inch Nail’s “Downward Spiral” and Marilyn Manson’s “Antichrist Superstar”. Sean also just finished up Manson’s new record, which we’re all pretty stoked to hear.
In addition to working with Beavan on this record, we’re also going to be doing a song or two with Corey Taylor from Slipknot. Corey comes from an entirely different world (musically), but his passion in everything he does and his abilities as a vocalist have always amazed us.
We will begin work on the record on March 23rd out at Red Bull Studios in Santa Monica. I have a feeling we might be asking a few other friends to help us out on this record, but you’ll have to wait to hear more news on that…
